Dear Millions of Diehard Loyal Fans,
Thank you for tuning into to the Strange Times Official Blog! Right about now, surely you have many questions running through your head, like "What's all this Strange Times business?" and "What's the quickest way I can get off of this site and onto something better?". Fear not, for all of your inquiries will be answered in due time.
Strange Times began as an idea. A seedling, if you will. A glimmer of hope and humor in dark times. It was to be a horror literary magazine! The first and last of its kind (don't look to see if there are other ones because there probably are). Founded by myself, Tom Orr, and Andie Christoffel, this infant of a prospect would soon blossom and plumpen until it was ripe with creative juices. I would later assume sole responsibility for writing, editing, and distributing this literature tour de force. After several poorly Xeroxed and stapled issues of Strange Times that circulated my high school (with critical acclaim, I might add), I realized this seed had grown far past the point of containment.
So, here we are. On the cusp of a wacky and wild world of silliness. And what role do I serve in this adventure that we are about to embark on together? Why, I am your fearless captain! I promise that I will always be a fair, but firm (so, so firm) leader and will do my best to guide you safely through Blog Hell and back. And on that note, I must be off into the wild blue, brown, and off-white yonder. Off to search the deepest, darkest corners of this cosmos for quality articles befitting of Strange Times' friends, fans, and swashbuckling crew.
